Description:
Explore a new approach to the principles of painting watercolour and sketching. You will learn to apply a free watercolour technique, how to use watercolour "en plein air", and how to bring these works back into a studio setting. Please bring your own materials. Instructor: Alfonso Tejada. Alfonso was born and raised in Mexico. He has a Masters in Architecture and Urban Design from UBC and has been a practicing artist for over 40 years. He has travelled extensively and taught courses in Plein Air worldwide.
Artists need to bring their own materials: watercolour paper and sketching paper (minimum sizes 10" x 11"); watercolour palette; brushes, ink pen and pencil (6B or conte crayon, sepia coloured pencil).
