We're sorry, but this Activity is full.
Description: This program is a basic winter skills course that will show you how to build a number of different snow shelters. Students will learn how to build a snow cave, trench, modified trench, quince and igloo. The course takes place at Mt. Washington Alpine Resort in Strathcona Provincial Park. Once the shelters are built we spend the night in our shelter and get up in the morning and travel up to Mt. Washington?s Raven Lodge for breakfast and then return to VIU before noon. These two days are informative and fun. Please bring some money for breakfast on the Sunday morning.
