Description
Are you looking for a safe and inclusive space to exercise and to work on your fitness goals in an energetic and highly motivational environment? Come and join us for an hour of fun, social and effective fitness! In this program you and your support person will be provided with the knowledge and confidence to correctly use the equipment we have in our Strength and Conditioning Room. This includes treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent bicycles, NuStep machines, free weights, and more.
Program Highlights:
· A dedicated weekly time slot to focus on improving overall wellness and health.
· Orientation provided for safe use machines and equipment. · Assistance in creating simple fitness routines.
· An enjoyable, social environment with music.
· Participants will be provided a log book, collect motivational stickers and have a record of their goals and /or accomplishments.
· A fun and interactive warm up and cool down led by our program leader.
*Participants must come with a support worker*
