Description: 

Ballet is known to provide grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance, and it is best introduced at a young age. This class is designed to help young dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence. For a full dance experience, make sure to sign up for Acro Jazz I right after this class.

Attire: pink leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes purchased at a dance shop (no H&M slippers please), hair up away from face, water bottle.

No class Oct 9.

Notes:

Important dates for Glow Kids Dance 2022/2023 academic year:

• Fall classes will run from September 15 until November 29, 2022.

• We will start rehearsing for our recital in the Fall, and recital costumes will be ordered in December.

• Winter classes will run from January 28 until March 9, 2023.

• Our recital’s tentative date is March 11 (TBC).

• For our Dance Team Members, competition period runs typically from April until June.

• Spring Classes will run from April 1 until June 25, 2023.

• For our Dance Team Members, in the month of June, our dancers will take their exams and will receive their report cards.

• In June, all dancers will receive their certificates, and we will host a parent viewing day.

• Also in the month of June, we will host an end of the year party for the dance team.
