Description: By participating in this 1-week series of half-day camps, your child will learn the foundations of 3D printers and 3D design, including:

  • How are 3D printers being used today?
  • What types of 3D printing technologies exist, and when are they used?
  • Fundamentals of 3D design for 3D printing
  • How to successfully print quality objects on a 3D printer
During the week, students will learn to design objects, and then print them on site at the Maker Lab, observing and participating in the fabrication from start to finish. They will then have the chance to learn and improve on their initial designs so that they can bring home their own 3D printed objects by the end of the week.

A laptop or Chromebook is required. If you need one please contact us at operations@zenmakerlab.com for rentals at $30 for the full week.
