M.H.K. Youth Dragon Boat Team, made up of enthusiastic and energetic youths, have come together to compete in this great sport! Mt. Pleasant, Hillcrest and Kensington Community Centres have collaborated for 2022 to offer this program to our youths! We have continued to build upon our Winter season's strength, core and cardio training and will be transitioning to increased on-water practices for Spring season! We will be paddling twice a week, Tuesdays and Saturdays, as we prepare for the on the Concord Pacific Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival in June 25-26, 2022! If you are a new youth and interested in joining this very healthy and wonderful team sport, please contact David Ng, Kensington Youth Worker! Consent forms must be completed and returned to our staff before youth can paddle on the water.
