Description: 

Young ballerinas explore the fun and beauty of ballet while learning the basic techniques. They will love playing with their creative expression in this fun class. Children must be able to participate without a parent in the room. More info at kirbysnelldance.com. No class Monday, April 18 and May 23.

This class is held in the Dance Studio. Check-in will begin 5 minutes prior to start time. Please enter the building through the Dance Studio entrance located around the back of the building (up the stairs by the playground) and check-in with the staff. Please be ready to begin as washroom capacity is limited.

  • Entry into recreation centres does not require proof of vaccination, but will be required for some programs and activities.

Communicable Disease Health & Safety Practices

  • Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending a program.
  • Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.
  • Registration and payment is required for most programs to help reduce the capacity to allow for physical distancing. Limited drop-ins may be permitted, depending on the facility.
  • All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.
