Description: ***Class originally scheduled July 11. Moved to Aug 15*** This hands on Village Vancouver ElderGreens workshop with Caitlin Dorward will introduce you to food safe methods for canning at home, with a focus on making pickles. We'll cover fresh pack and hot pack pickles, and discuss techniques for other canned food such as jams and jellies. Participants will take home a jar of the pickles we make during the workshop. We'll have the West Point Grey VV community seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate some seeds. Register by July 9th.
