Description: Some days it can be hard to know where our food comes. The question of food provenance touches on concerns such as food security, local economies, food quality, land and water health, cultural traditions and knowledge, and climate change. This Westside Neighbourhood Food Network workshop with Beth Carruthers is part conversation and part edible delight, as we begin learning about and discussing food provenance, ending with sharing the stories and flavours of the food we bring to share. Bring a delightful dish and its story. Plates, bowls, and cutlery provided. We'll have a community seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds.
