Description: In this joint Village Vancouver-WENFN West End Urban Garden Club workshop with Laura Reid from Counter-Cultures, you'll learn how to make Ginger Ale, Ginger Beer, Switchel (a drink made with water and vinegar) and more! Samples will be provided, and you'll go home with an informative booklet which covers the topics discussed in class as well as various recipes. We'll have the community seed library present - you can get some free seeds for your garden or swap or donate some seeds. Advance registration encouraged. FREE for Seniors (50 and over).
