Description: The Douglas Park Senior Youth Council promotes youth program planning for youth. They help with community projects, special events, fundraising, and address current trends and issues found amongst youth. Each year the council finds a social or environmental issue that they spend some of the meeting addressing and finding ways they can help. Meetings are recorded for volunteer hours. Come to meetings and meet other fellow youth in the community and have fun! The youth council consists of an annually elected Executive and is supervised by the Community Youth Worker and other Douglas Park Youth Staff. We meet every Wednesday at 6pm
