Location

If you are taking transit, Main Street Science World is the nearest stop. Visit translink.ca [translink.ca] to plan your trip here. There is free street parking in the area and there is pay parking underground.
Get Ready
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so that you can go through all check in procedures. Please do not bring any bags or personal effects with you at this time, as we do not have any storage capacity. If you take your personal effects with you in the boat, they will get wet or you may lose them in the water. We strongly recommend leaving your valuables at home.
Check In
When you are ready, please go to the East ramp for the check in area. If you are 19 years old or over, please ensure that you've completed your online waiver. Youth aged 18 or under are required to have a parent/guardian sign a paper waiver, available at dragonzone.ca/downloads [dragonzone.ca].
General Notes
-Due to COVID-19, Creekside Community Centre's washrooms are open for select hours only. Water refill stations, showers, and lockers are unavailable. Please plan accordingly.
-Please help us minimize contact at check in by pre-completing your waivers.
-Youth aged 18 or under are required to have a parent/guardian sign their waiver, and must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old on the water. Visit dragonzone.ca/downloads [dragonzone.ca] to get your waiver.
-In addition to these rules and procedures, you must abide by any other rules or procedures as posted or explained to you by our staff including off-limit areas or boundaries, proper conduct while on the water, and safety rules.
-Paddling while under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly banned. Any breach of this rule will lead to an automatic and permanent blacklist.
-Your session starts at the time indicated. Late arrivals may be denied entry to the class, and will forfeit their fee paid.
-All paddlers must wear an approved PFD while in the boat at all times. Paddlers are not allowed to take off their PFD at any time while on the water. You will be given a brief kayak familiarization before you depart.

We reserve the right to end or cancel your rental session for any reason including for safety reasons, disruptive or inappropriate conduct, or failure to abide by our rules and policies including waiver submission, without refund or credit.
-We reserve the right to postpone or reschedule dates for any reason. If your date is postponed or rescheduled, you may select the postponed date, or choose to transfer to any other date for the same class in the same calendar year.
