Description: In this Westside Neighbourhood Food Network with Rhiannon Johnson, you'll learn how to adapt your food garden to a changing climate. With dryer, hotter summers, weeks of cold snaps in the winter and fluctuating temperatures, rainfall and snowfall, learn gardening techniques to help make your garden more resilient to extreme weather events (storms, cold snaps, heat waves, drought) and hotter/colder conditions. We'll have the community seed library present - pick up some seeds for your garden, swap, or donate seeds. We'll have the West Point Grey Village Vancouver community seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds. Free for seniors (50+).
