Description: Students will work with conventional and unconventional materials within a constrained palette to learn the fundamentals of contrast, space and textures. Study expressions within lines, shapes, colours, acrylics, oils, volumes and composition and do experimental drawing and painting, including textures with basic colours all on different types of paper, canvas and wood panel. Drop-in $36 (space permitting). See receipt for supply list. This class falls on both Monday and Thursday, and participants can come to one or both days each week. No class Feb 20, Mar 13, 16, 20, 23.
