Description: Located behind the Mansion, just off of NW Marine Dr, and hosted by Village Vancouver, the garden includes VV?s Collaborative Demonstration Permaculture Garden (including a vertical garden and herb spiral), the WPG Preschool Garden and art/garden projects by our artist residencies, gardeners, and local artists. Emphasizing permaculture design elements, it offers fun, inclusive social, educational, culinary and cultural activities for community members. Enjoy cooking, fermenting, preserving and DIY demonstrations, timely gardening and growing workshops such as gardening for beginners, growing garlic, dealing with garden pests, Japanese vegetables, and composting, making rope baskets, and a Native Edibles walk, as well as family friendly collaborative gardening on Saturdays.
