Description: 

This is an ongoing course for students who are returning or have completed the beginners’ introductory lessons. It continues the development of the student’s knowledge and skill sets in the Butokukan Canada Karate (“BCK”) style such as basics, kata, and, when permitted, sparring and self defence. In addition, students will participate in traditional “Phys-ed” muscular development, as well as, stretching and conditioning. BCK is a traditional martial arts style that builds character, stamina, and emotional health for the student. For those who commit to the club we work in a structured environment, with both the group, and the individual, to develop skills and character.

For the safety of the participant, the Acknowledgement of Risk, Waiver, Release & Indemnity Form must be completed. Children will not be permitted in the program until the completed form is received

Butokukan means "Training Hall of the Virtues of the Martial Arts" and draws the best from traditional and modern martial arts.
