Description: 

Under the expert guidance of our instructor Karen Rose, students will be able to learn new skills that will apply to any stage performance. Each Theatre Workshop covers a new topic that will prepare aspiring actors for what they will encounter in their theatre career.

In Scene Study, act with a partner in a scene to develop dramatic, comedic timing with intention while building your acting skills.

Workshops are available once a month and you can join for just one month or come to them all. These are one time courses, so, registration in previous workshops is NOT required in order to join the next workshop. The topics for Theatre Workshops are:
If your child is interested in performing, we have a variety of youth musical theatre and drama opportunities available for ages 5-18. See our Musical Theatre and Drama section of our website for more information.

This is a REMOTE DELIVERY program. There are NO meetings in person (or face-to-face) and NO childcare/supervision provided during this course. Adult supervision in your residence of your child is required while your child is participating in this program.

All video conferencing will be done through Zoom. You do not need an account but may be required to download the software to run this program on your computer and you will have to visit the app store to download the app on your smartphone or tablet. Participants will be required to use a device with both a microphone and web cam to engage with this program; these come standard on most tablets, smartphones, and laptops, but may not be available on your desktop computer. Please check your device before registering and contact our Student Services Office Non-Credit if you have questions about Zoom or your device.
