Description: 

Join Cécile Denis to join a casual learning environment with other harp enthusiasts. In Harp Ensemble Level 1, learn new repertoire, build your technique, and form a community of other passionate harp players. This course is perfect for anyone who completed a Conservatory Build Your Own Harp Workshop or for any beginners interested in learning more about their harp.

Equipment Required: participants who completed our workshop will have a 22 string (3 octave) harp with the lowest string being G below middle C. If you didn't complete the workshop but have a harp of your own, please keep this in mind or contact our Program Coordinator with questions.

If you are interested in one-on-one Private Lessons, as opposed to a group environment, you can fill in our Private Lesson Placement Form on our website to get placed in Cécile Denis' Private Lesson studio.

Please note: register for Harp Ensemble Level 3 if you have been taking this ensemble since Winter 2020.

This is a REMOTE DELIVERY program. There are NO meetings in person (or face-to-face) during this course.

All video conferencing will be done through Zoom. You do not need an account but may be required to download the software to run this program on your computer and you will have to visit the app store to download the app on your smartphone or tablet. Participants will be required to use a device with both a microphone and web cam to engage with this program; these come standard on most tablets, smartphones, and laptops, but may not be available on your desktop computer. Please check your device before registering and contact our Student Services Office Non-Credit if you have questions about Zoom or your device.
