Description: 

Join guitar instructor Renée Coghill for this casual meeting of guitar enthusiasts. Guitarist Meet-up sessions will give players a chance to play for one another, learn some new techniques/repertoire, ask questions with an experienced teacher/player, and play all together in a virtual environment. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join but it would be helpful to have a basic understanding of a handful of chords before joining.

Guitarist Meet-up sessions are available once a month and you can join for just one month or come to them all. These are one time courses, so, registration in previous sessions is not required in order to join the next upcoming session:
If you have no prior guitar experience or would prefer learning on your own, Renée Coghill also teaches guitar through Private Lessons.

This is a REMOTE DELIVERY program. There are NO meetings in person (or face-to-face) during this course.

All video conferencing will be done through Zoom. You do not need an account but may be required to download the software to run this program on your computer and you will have to visit the app store to download the app on your smartphone or tablet. Participants will be required to use a device with both a microphone and web cam to engage with this program; these come standard on most tablets, smartphones, and laptops, but may not be available on your desktop computer. Please check your device before registering and contact our Student Services Office Non-Credit if you have questions about Zoom or your device.
