We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, 1 March 2017.
Fee: $1954-week series
When we think of great ballet music, Swan Lake, Romeo & Juliet and the Firebird come easily to mind, and these masterpieces are often staged by major ballet companies around the world. The Russians have always loved ballet and many of their native composers have shown considerable talents and skills in the composition of ballet music. Without dealing with choreography, lights and costumes, this session will simply delve into some of the great ballet music written by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and Stravinsky.
