Description: Have you been hearing more and more about cryptocurrencies lately? Are you ready for some fun, interactive learning about crypto? Are you ready to learn the basics? And to move from awareness to understanding, and from understanding to action?


This course is a great opportunity to learn about cryptocurrencies & the blockchain economy from three ‘crypto passionates’, each with a unique journey to embracing the crypto space.

The goals for the session are:
• to equip you with understanding of the basics of crypto terminology
• to provide insights into the crypto market
• to put you (the participant) at the centre of the crypto world.

About the instructors:

Christian is an award-winning marketing strategist passionate about technology. From consulting for tech giants like Microsoft and serving on the advisory boards of forward-thinking startups developing 3D printing, blockchain, and disrupting technologies, Christian has been engaging with crypto currencies and championing Bitcoin since 2011.

Chris is an early adopter of blockchain technology and is involved in several startups in the crypto space such as Blocpal and Humbl. He is an entrepreneur with over 30 years experience running various small businesses and is currently a partner of Vesla West Developments with real estate projects in western Canada.

Doris is an accomplished CPA, CA with a primary focus on Risk Optimization. Her 25+ years in the corporate world culminated in a role as the Chief Risk Officer at one of Canada’s largest credit unions, after 20+ years at KPMG and XL Capital (a global re/insurance company) creating risk-based solutions within the boundaries of legal/regulatory frameworks. Doris’s journey into crypto started as a pessimist … to curious … to passionate.
