Description: Join us from the comfort of your home! Learn how to navigate the nighttime sky and discover its hidden treasures. This program begins by showing you how to recognize and when to look for some of the most important constellations. We then explore these constellations to discover some of the universe’s most amazing objects, including black holes, active galaxies, stellar nurseries, ancient star clusters and extrasolar planets. To help locate these objects, a planisphere is provided this will need to be picked up by the customer. Kit pick up will be at Bayview Hill Community Centre Wednesday April 7 or Thursday April 8 between 3:00 and 7:00pm. Prior to the start of the program you will be emailed information on the virtual program links and any specific information relating to your program. All participants must be registered.
