Description:
Lane swimming in a roped-off, designated area of the pool. The Lawson Aquatic Centre has modified its lane swim to promote physical distancing. Lanes have been combined into a double lane (2 lanes together) with a capacity of 4 people per double lane. In instances where a single lane is available, it is capped at 1 person per lane. All lanes are available on a first come, first served basis. Appointments last from an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. The swirl pool is also available during appointment times. In between each session, all high touch points will be cleaned to help protect the community.
Flutter boards and pool buoys will be the only equipment available for use. We encourage you to bring your own equipment if available.

To maintain physical distancing, lanes will be combined into a double lane that is shared between a maximum of 4 people. In instances where a single lane is available, it will be limited to 1 person. All lanes are available on a first come first served basis. While we have reopened a limited amount of lockers, we ask that you still please refrain from bringing valuables and unnecessary items into the facility. If you wish to use the swirl pool, you must use it within your appointment time as all lane swimmers will be asked to leave when their lane swim slot is over.
