Description:
This group will engage in scavenger hunt adventures which take them all across the city! Using different platforms and technologies, they will work together accomplishing collective and individual tasks, and achieving goals while they navigate new areas of the city each week.
They will learn to use different forms of technology, exercise cooperation & communication skills, problem solve, improve commuting and TTC skills, and get active! All while having fun playing games with friends. This is excellent way to explore the city while having a great time doing it!
Do not worry, the journeys will be based on the unpredictable and often extreme weather conditions of our wonderful city.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own phones with data plans. If they do not, ipads are available.
If the program does not meet the minimum required participants, the event is subject to cancellation by the end of registration, 48 hours before the event. Individuals would be notified and receive a full refund.
There are NO refunds once program has commenced.
Notes:-Program is 8 weeks, from Nov 1- Dec 20
-Any entrance fees are not included i.e. tickets to any events/parks/exhibition
-TTC not included
-Lunch not included
-If you have not attended a Discovery Club program before, please contact the Discovery Club using the information provided below before attending the program
