Description:
Come join in on the fun at the Summer Day Camp for Children and Teens (Medically Fragile Technologically Dependent) at Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services. We are a diverse organization that provides services to people with different abilities. We offer an exciting theme-based program for children and teens aged 4 to 18 years old that includes crafts, swimming, Snoezelen room time, community outings, physical fitness, and games in the gym. All activities are geared towards having fun and making new friends.
Camp runs daily Monday to Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Extended care options are available from 8:00-9:00 am and 3:00-4:00 pm for an additional cost. The program is facilitated by experienced, qualified staff, including a Registered Practical Nurse. We are committed to providing a safe and positive experience for all participants. A minimum number of participants are required for the camp to run. Your camp facilitator for the 2022 season is Nicole Tailby
Enrollment & Registration:
We have a new process for enrollment and registration this year.
• Early enrollment opens March 1st - April 30th. We will be accepting enrollment via phone or email.
• Enrollment is limited to 3 weeks per person, so everyone has a chance to attend camp.
• To enroll, please call or email us on March 1st or after to get your child's name on the list. Remember that spaces may be limited and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• On May 1st, you may have the opportunity to enroll in additional weeks. If there are still spots available, we will contact you.
• We will be gathering registration details on June 1st. This will include the registration application and payment.
• Tours will be scheduled for those new to Summer Camp.
• Camp fees must be paid in full by June 30th.

Notes:We are looking forward to providing a fantastic summer experience for everyone. We will be offering programs assuming that the local Covid-19 pandemic environment permits us to do so. We encourage you to enroll early to secure your spot. We will be offering a full refund if we are required to cancel activities due to COVID-19. We will be following all required pandemic precautions per the direction of local health authorities to ensure the safety of everyone who participates. We may need to restrict some activities such as pool, outings requiring use of a vehicle, and use of the Snoezelen room due to Covid-19 limitations. We will do our best to offer a fun experience if we are open with limited services.
Sunbeam Community and Developmental Services are currently reviewing the vaccination policy. We will update you as soon as the policy comes into effect.
