Description: Through classroom learning and in-water practice, this course prepares candidates to help instructors with swim classes. Candidates are introduced to principles of learning and teaching, and basic progressions. 100% attendance, Bronze Cross and 14 years of age required. Candidates are required to have their own FACE SHIELD to be worn while in the water with assistant teaching (can bring their own or purchase one at the pool).
