Description: Challenge yourself to a day of training with the Courtenay Fire Department. Test your physical and mental abilities as you discover the life of a firefighter. This fun and informative day will educate you about the volunteer and career possibilities in firefighting. Activities may include fire extinguisher training, auto extraction, building searches and more. Please bring a lunch to fuel you through the day.

Notes:
Please note date changed to July 18 - misprint in the guide. Class will take place at the Captain W.A. Lane Macdonald Fire Training Centre on Waters Place (between Costco, Home Depot and the BC Hydro Substation). Please bring a lunch, snacks, water bottle and sunscreen. Please don't pack flip flops, peanut products, electronics or other valuables.
