Description:
Lifesaving Society provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid, CPR and AED. This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid such as; medical/legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, and medical emergencies. This course is recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
CPR-C includes theory for adult, child and infant victims including two rescuer CPR skills; as well as includes the importance of early defibrillation and how to use an AED. CPR-C & AED certification is included in Standard First Aid.
Withdrawals 5 business days or less prior to the start of the course will receive no refund due to the third party costs. It is the responsibility of candidates to ensure they have the correct prerequisites for the course and they must be shown to the Instructor on the first class. No refunds will be given if prerequisites are not met.
Mandatory 100% attendance
Canadian First Aid Manual, 2015 and pocket mask or face shield are required.
