Public Skate - Pandemic Health & Safety Guidelines

Public Skates will be modified to follow guidelines and health precautions as set out by the Province of Ontario and the Waterloo Regional Public Health Unit.

1. All programs will have a maximum capacity based on physical distancing requirements. Customers are encouraged to book their spot in advance.

2. Be prepared to enter the facility with your attire on. Dressing rooms will not be available. Dedicated seats will be made available, rink side, to put on your skates.

3. The arena doors will open approximately 10 minutes before the start of the program. Upon entering, follow the directional signage to the seating area.

4. Customers will have 5 minutes to leave the arena at the end of the skate, and will exit the ice surface and arena from the designated exit points.

5. There will be NO equipment for use.

6. Please note the directional signage located throughout the arena. Physical distancing requirements per Ontario government recommendations will be enforced.

7. PPE should be worn according to “The Regional Municipality of Waterloo By-law requiring the wearing of face coverings in enclosed public places” (e.g., masks).
