Description: This program is for all ages to enjoy a leisure skate. Helmets are strongly recommended, chinstraps must be fastened. Sticks and pucks are not permitted.
Public Skate - Pandemic Health & Safety Guidelines
Public Skates will be modified to follow guidelines and health precautions as set out by the Province of Ontario and the Waterloo Regional Public Health Unit.
All programs will have a maximum capacity based on physical distancing requirements. Customers are to book their spot in advance.
Prior to arriving at the arena, all individuals (whether spectating or participating) must complete the City's online screening tool www.cambridge.ca/screening
Any participant over the age of 17 must show proof of double vaccination or will not be permitted entry.
The arena doors will open approximately 15 minutes before the start of the program. Upon entering, follow the directional signage to the seating area.
Customers will have 15 minutes to leave the arena at the end of the skate, and will exit the ice surface and arena from the designated exit points.
There will be NO equipment for use.
Physical distancing requirements per Ontario government recommendations are to be followed.
PPE should be worn according to the Regional Municipality of Waterloo By-law, which includes the wearing of face coverings in all areas of the arena other than on the ice.
