Description:
This NEW and exciting Esport camp will combine game acquisition, fitness and nutrition, game settings, and team building as trained staff will demonstrate and share knowledge of the popular Minecraft video game. They will work through challenges and builds both individually, and as a team. Participants will engage and learn through a variety of different challenges to enhance their knowledge. Participants will swim at the WG Johnson Centre, two times per week, as well as engage in a wide variety of outdoor activities and games. Participants will require access to a personal iPad or Nintendo Switch. Limited devices are available upon request. Existing access to the Minecraft game is a requirement.
Members from the Robotics/Stemotics team will lead the group in a half day Minecraft coding workshop where they will dive deeper and expand their knowledge into the Minecraft world! HIGH FIVE, is a province-wide quality assurance program that provide resources, tools and training to help providers of children's recreation programs measure and improve the quality of their programs. HIGH FIVE training helps ensure our programs are child-focused, age appropriate, safe and fun!
