A lively, fun and thoughtful movement technique for fitness conditioning, healing and self-expression. Barefoot, low-impact movements are drawn from dance, martial arts, healing arts and yoga, and are set to inspiring music for a whole person experience.
Biography:Carol is a Blue Belt Nia instructor teaching Nia on Bowen Island since 2009. She credits Nia for motivating her to move her body in a way that gives her joy and fills her heart and soul. Carol is also an award-winning novelist and was chair of the Bowen Island Arts Council for 10 years.
Biography:Deborah?s Nia journey began with "love at first step" in Toronto in 1996. She has a Nia Blue Belt and has been teaching Nia since 1999 and on Bowen Island since 2007. Being a Nia instructor gives her delight and a deepening sense of gratitude, creative self-expression, freedom, and joy.
