Description: Skill development is not limited to the ice. Players of all ages and experience can benefit from this dry-land training program where Kinesiologist, Rachel Canning, will focus on hockey-focused fitness and drills that will improve skill, power, speed and stamina. With the added benefit of increasing the chance of injury prevention and improving overall health. Bring your sticks and get ready for fun!

Biography:
At age 16, Rachel started cycling to rehab her knee after a ski racing accident and has been cycling competitively ever since. She has raced at the Canada Summer Games and the National Championships, as well as in Europe and all over the US. She graduated from UBC with a degree in Kinesiology, and currently works at Bowen Island Integrated Health as a Kinesiologist. She is also a Personal Trainer at Positively Fit, specializing in teenagers and young adults.
