Commuter Spin is a low-impact cardiovascular workout, designed to improve strength & fitness while burning calories in a fun and supportive environment. This class is taught by Rachel Canning, a local registered Kinesiologist who is passionate about your body's wellbeing!
Please note that there are no drop-ins; you must register in advance for each 3-week session.
Biography:
At age 16, Rachel started cycling to rehab her knee after a ski racing accident and has been cycling competitively ever since. She has raced at the Canada Summer Games and the National Championships, as well as in Europe and all over the US. She graduated from UBC with a degree in Kinesiology, and currently works at Bowen Island Integrated Health as a Kinesiologist. She is also a Personal Trainer at Positively Fit, specializing in teenagers and young adults.
