Swimming - Audley Recreation Centre

Registration opens every Wednesday at 9 a.m. for the upcoming Friday – Thursday

Please Note: Registration for swimming is open to Durham Region residents only.

For your safety, the pool will be roped off into 12 separate areas (zones). View diagram of swimming zones. Pre-register for each zone on a first come, first served basis. Overbooking of the swim zones for exclusive use is not permitted. If you book multiple zones during the same swim time please be aware that these bookings may be subject to additional admission fees. Multiple zone bookings will be monitored on a case by case basis and misuse may result in additional charges.

Please Note: New safety protocols have been developed for pool usage and are aligned with the Durham Public Health Department & Lifesaving Society.

Outdoor Skating Programs – Pat Bayly Square

Outdoor Skating programs at Pat Bayly Square will continue to run with pre-registration and adhering to all Public Health Guidelines, for Durham Region residents only. Please Note: First 3 hours of registration is open to Ajax residents only. Non-Ajax, Durham Region residents can register beginning at 12p.m. (noon).

Masks are mandatory on and off the ice.

Resident restrictions apply. All participants 18 years and older must bring photo ID to verify Ajax or Durham Region residency. ID will be cross-referenced to the address on ActiveAjax.

Pre-register for programs on a first come, first served basis. As there are limited spots, we apologize we cannot accommodate all those who are interested in participating.

Registration will open every Wednesday at 9 a.m. for the upcoming Friday – Thursday.

Call 365-885-3848 to check rink status before heading out to skate. Registrants will not receive cancellation notification by phone or email.

NEW! Self-Serve Online Withdrawal from Outdoor Skating, Swimming and Fitness Centre Activities

If you are unable to attend your pre-registered program time simply follow the steps below to cancel your reservation.

Follow these simple steps to withdraw:

1.Login to your ActiveAjax Account

2.Under Account Activity click on Historical Transaction List

3.Click on the Withdraw button beside the activity you want to withdraw from, and complete the steps to check-out

Space is limited and these programs are popular. Withdrawing will free up your spot for others to enjoy.

Online withdrawals are available until midnight the day before a pre-registered program time.

Online Account:
An online account is required to create Wish Lists, Enroll in Activities and to add yourself or a family members to Waitlists.
We encourage you to register early, as activities fill up quickly or may be cancelled if enrollment is low.
Symbol Legend:
$S - Participants 65 yrs or older receive a 50% discount
M - Members receive a 33% discount
N - New program

Tips for a successful search:

Enter the Activity Number (barcode), part of the activity title or other synonyms in the search field to search for the activity your are interested in.
Use the Map icon to display the facilities offering activities near you.
Use the Advanced Search Filters section (left side) to help narrow your search.
Create a Wish List of activities you are interested in before registration starts. Please note that this doesn't guarantee a spot in that activity. When registration opens, log into your account and add items from your wish list to your cart and complete your transaction..
