WINTER 2021 SAFETY AND PROTOCOL INFORMATION

1. At this time, viewing programs outside of rooms is not available. Only parents/guardians registered in a caregiver and child program will be permitted inside the building. For programs not needing a parent/guardian in the class, registered participants are required to be dropped off and picked up at the designated door. Caregivers will not be permitted to remain in the building to observe or wait during a child’s program.
2. This program is located at RIM Park Manulife Sportsplex. Please use Entrance B, located by the Waterloo Sports Medicine clinic. Follow the signs to the sign in/out desk. Program drop-off is between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and pick-up is between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Parent/guardians and registered participant must line-up (physically distancing and wearing masks) in the assigned area for sign-in and screening. Participants will then will be escorted to the program room by staff.
3. Physical distancing protocols must be maintained at all times in the building.
4. Regional Council by-law requires the wearing of masks inside City of Waterloo facilities. Masks must be worn when entering and moving through the facility. At this time, the by-law exempts children under the age of five and those who are unable to wear a face covering (due to a medical condition, disability, etc.).
5. All participants are encouraged to come with a pre-filled water bottle and to use the bathroom prior to arriving at the facility.
6. At the conclusion of the program, all participants will be escorted back to the door they entered for pick-up by caregiver. Photo ID is required when picking up child participants. Pick-up is between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Late fees may apply.
7. A Pre-Program Declaration of Health phone call will be made 3 days prior to your primary phone number listed on your family account with us.

Please do not attend the program if you:

1. Have a fever, new cough, shortness of breath or a combination of muscle aches, fatigue, headache, sore throat or runny nose.
2. Have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days.
3. Have been in close contact with a person with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19.
