Program refunds due to COVID-19

The City of Kitchener, together with area municipalities, has extended all facility closures and cancelled all indoor and outdoor municipal recreation programming up to and including June 30, 2020 to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and to provide certainty to potential program registrants.

Refunds will be processed based on the following:

  1. Credit card purchases will be refunded back on to the credit card used at time of purchase. Credit cards must be valid. If your credit card has expired or changed, we recommend that you log into Active Net below and update your account information to help us expedite the refund process.
  2. Debit, cheque and cash purchases will be refunded back to your Active Net account in the form of an account credit. A cheque refund from this credit can be requested by emailing Active Net. Please provide your name, phone number and full mailing address in order for us to verify your mailing information in Active Net. We recommend that you sign in to Active Net below and update your account information to help us expedite the refund process.
  3. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible; due to the volume of refunds there may be some delays.

Any applicable memberships will be suspended during this closure period and expiry dates will be extended accordingly once facilities reopen.
